The Phantom Short Series range of stub drill bits have split points on most sizes to help centre the drill and improve accuracy. These can also be known as self-centring drills or pilot tipped drills. Phantom drills will greatly improve the speed and longevity of your production, also reducing tooling time, ultimately making a cost saving in production. Stub drills are used when more stability is needed and shallow holes are being drilled. In edition to the name stub drills, the term short drills may also be used.
